Interesting question, I've always called my self a motorist in the car, pedestrian when I walk and cyclist when I cycle, but after this I think maybe fair weather rider or person on a bike might be more appropriate!

I've seen this done on Grand Designs on Channel 4 here in the UK, it can have some lovely results but it can look very industrial, not too much of an issue under an Expressway i'd have thought.
