It's not just Sean Bean that seems to die in all he does, Sean Pertwee had that crown long before you brought Beanys affliction to my attention. Pertwee has died in every film i've seen him in and if he survives this one i'll Roast my Chestnuts!

wow, thanks for that, so its effectively teleportation, but if we start taking of large distances like to Mars or further then its only as instant as the speed of light. And to take it to 3D printers it'd be more like cloning than teleporting as you're making an exact copy of the original not transfering the original?

Wow. I'm aware of Quantum entanglement, but i couldn't see how it was relevant to this but now i do, thanks for taking the time to explain that, so its a transference of state from one, to the next, to the last pairs of entangled photons?

Tally-Ho, what-what and Huzzah to that eh? Good show, Good show! Now, could one of you chaps explain to an old dog how this thing-a-ma-jig constitutes teleportation?

Say what now? you shined a laser over a lake? good for you! well done chaps!

Alas, though, we are all idiots, with no common sense, no powers of deductive reasoning and with no ability to assimilate any new information at all. We all stick very tightly to the stereotypes we are given and non of us has the intelligence to realise whats going on. Thankfully those clever chaps at the movies are

Ah you scamp! You Mischievous Devil you!!

They left Pirates! and Adventure with Scientists as it is here in the UK. they often have different trailers for US & UK releases, and sometimes even cut the movies different and not because of the censors. I saw the US trailer of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and it had so many jokes in it that weren't in the UK

No it's not, but it's a cool effect when the overlays do come in, also the dual Yutani logos combine nicely.

RTA- Hats off to you there, god i hope your wrong so you haven't just ruined a brilliant plot point from the film for me, but well done none the less! ABCDE, it all fits together so well!

There's always space for a good H2G2 quote! Well done!

i watched 'get the gringo' the other day, the title in the UK is 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation' with the trailer being like him calling his mum to explain his vacation, it made it seem like a comedy but when we watched it it wasnt though it wasn't sure what it wanted to be. if i had'nt seen the trailer, and the film

you should watch Woman in Black, was a 12A here in the UK but gave it me the full on Colly Wobbles i can tell you, i was shitting bricks.

or, indeed, any less wrong!

RTA - Good point, punishing the good and law abiding, arseholes!!

I have a Klout score of 53, do i win the internet??

Why has no one commented on the train wreck that is these poor girls accents? i mean, there not even up to a James Doohan level of poor, let alone any level of good, it hurts my ears!!

Agreed, i'd never heard of John Carter before the film and had no emotional attachment to it and i really enjoyed the film.

RTA - Good explanation! As an aside, at the standard frame rate of movies, the gap between the frames is a third of the length of time of the frame itself, so for a 90 min movie you actually spend 30 mins sitting in the dark!

i'll be sure to make a note of your handle so i can track you down and ruin your Prometheus!
