I hope this savings is reflected in the resale market in a couple years. There are used SVRs right now going for over $130k! With that price drop + depreciation, I should be able to get a used SVR in the next few years for under $80k.

I wonder if his car will be covered by insurance or if they will take the video evidence of him getting out and leaving it as reason to avoid paying out. Hopefully they reward this good Samaritan by actually paying for his repairs.
I’ve managed to pull 19 miles out of my hybrid MKZ with the range at 0... you don’t know stress until you’re literally milking every brake and coasting opportunity to try and recharge the battery to just let you get over the next hill.
Help me Tom Cruise!
I thought Talladega Nights already answered that question. Run.
You could have just left it at the title... it’s an $800 Jeep Grand Wagoneer off-roader. That sums it all up perfectly.
We’re in America. Speak American.
While this is pretty cool, wouldn’t completely different color schemes be even easier? I’ve never watched a NASCAR race and wondered where is Jimmy? I just look for the blue and silver with that unique “48" on top. I feel like F1 is missing out on millions of advertising by putting a driver’s face on the cars and not…
I’m perfectly fine with being judged if it means I’m more comfortable for those hours on the plane. Judge me. I’ll never see you again and at the end of the day we both got where we were going, one of us more comfortable than the other.
I wonder if it’s just coincidence that the stitching matches the body color and all Rubicons will have red stitching? Because if not, that is awesome! Seems unlikely due to cost, but man it would be such a cool feature.
Sweatpants? That seems extreme. Why should I wear jeans or dressier pants and be uncomfortable sitting in a chair for hours just so you can have the knowledge that I am not in sweats? Me wearing sweatpants on a plane is not the same thing as bringing smelly food.
Yes, $73k is a lot of money for a dressed-up Tahoe. But when you look at the alternative SUVs in that price range, the Cadillac does give you a ton for the money. More power and size than a Land Rover, Jaguar or Porsche, and more luxury than a Land Cruiser.
At what point do we begin to expect more from 4-cylinders? Ford is getting 310hp out of theirs in the Mustang ($25k), 350 in the Focus RS ($40k), Mercedes gives you 375hp in the AMG CLA45 ($50k) ... Land Rover expects me to pay $55k+ for 237hp in a much heavier vehicle? People would scoff if someone offered a V8 that…
Might be time to invest in a second fire extinguisher, one for the Willy’s and one for this.
Not shown: Tracy hiding in the weeds waiting for his chance to pounce and add to his Jeep fetish collection.
1) this reminds me the Mach 5 from Speed Racer.
Ford already has the Cyclone engine... so what would Dyson use to power their car since they can’t use their Radial Root Cyclone technology?
It is so crazy that the Japanese dealers don’t do the same thing within their American locations and yet they still sell a ton of cars. Can you imagine if they brought these business practices here how many more Camrys and Civics they would sell?
I see your point, but this is more like not blaming the thief because the store has a secret hidden exit that, if you’re willing to find and exploit, makes it all legal.
The Abarth sounds cool and all but the AMG CLA/GLA45 twins would like to have a word with you...
