Coach builders are incredible! Projects like these and the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante are amazing to behold. It goes beyond just modifying your car Need for Speed Underground style, there is a level of actual design beauty that gives me the feels.

I get that completely! I drive a hybrid, not because I care at all about being “green”, but for the 40+mpg. I’m willing to bet the majority of people who will buy HEV, PHEV or Electric cars in the future are after the same thing you and I are, lower costs to get around.
Nothing in my post to Tom said anything about saving the planet. Thank the Jalopnik.com editing team for adding that angle. I got the Leaf because it literally cost less than I was paying in gas for my GTO ($300/$225).
3. Don’t buy a used RZR from Travis Pastrana.
If they won’t let us text and drive on a phone, why would they let us on the radio screen?
Not to mention the source of the electricity is most likely not renewable/green/clean.
Also, a lightly used Taurus Sho would check every box: big, powerful, still practical, you can easily daily it and the auto trans/EcoBoost engine is a good combo.
Two things come to mind after seeing this:
Neither article (this one or the one in the Free Press) had a picture of the actual car that was stolen... the owner didn’t have a single picture? What was the image on the Craigslist ad? Are we certain that the man had the car in the first place and that this is not an insurance scam??
They are literally doing this exact thing on the website, showing how the Model S is better than the Model 3... https://www.tesla.com/model3
What car dealer doesn’t try to do this? Every time I’ve gone to buy a car, they try to get me to go up a model and get one on the floor instead of ordering. “You can get the A6 today or wait several weeks for the A3.”
Where is the uproar about the Beetle? I mean it was literally Hitler’s car. I don’t see the anger about that car still being made. People called out Macklemore for his haircut. Now get mad about an event name that was chosen YEARS before the events of Saturday? How about we focus our efforts on the enemy and not…
I personally think the crash enhances motorsport. The danger involved in what these drivers do is part of the reason it is so exciting. No risk, no reward. Crashes happen, don’t get mad at the organizers, tell Hammond to drive better next time and move on.
OH NO! What will the local funeral homes put in the “candy” dishes now!?!
If my last job involved Lindsay Lohan riding me, I’d run away to South America too
Can’t help but notice that the NASCAR version has windows big enough to se out of...
There is nothing wrong with it... if there was Jeep wouldn’t be putting the Hellcat engine in the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. They know people want power and if it comes with more room for bags in the back, even better. No one’s off-roading the Trackhawk and yet that will still sell like crazy.
With the short little bed on the Raptor the extended cab is only 10.6" longer than a regular cab. The regular cab is shorter, but really not by much.
Ford needs to offer the current Raptor in a regular cab option. I get that most people want more space, but some off-road purists would rather the shorter wheel base.
“The halo: It’s the greatest, best idea that F1 has ever had, and anyone who argues this is bad and terrible and wrong.”
