I wonder what their profit margins are on the Cruze... it just beat out Toyota and Honda for the Consumer Reports Best Car, but will they sell enough to make the investment worth it?

I thought the same thing. It happened in California, the ultimate “green” state... if Toyota and Hyundai owners can get their tires slashed in Michigan for driving foreign, I can see VW owners getting treatment like this at the hands of hippies.
1st Gear: While that is impressive, I wonder if it will translate into major profits for GM. The real margins are in trucks and SUVs. In China (car market), their Cadillac brand is king and they are essentially bowing out of the European market (another car market).
Why can’t the Japanese make a performance car that actually looks good too? The LFA was INCREDIBLE and yet it looked like an updated Mitsubishi Eclipse. And this thing looks like something from the set of the original Fast and the Furious. I’m surprised it doesn’t have neons underneath it honestly.
The only race Nissan is winning is making cars 10x uglier than BMW and Mercedes. The latter are finally making OK looking cars after 10 years of eh.
Type R always has red logos.
Is the logo always body colored? Or are you stuck with a Rudolph nose no matter your color choice?

Now that you say it, “The American” did take it around the track. If I remember correctly it didn’t do well as it was a wet track that day. Here is Chris Harris reviewing it last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT8LrA21vuo
Will we even need shifters in the autonomous car future? Won’t cars be able to shift themselves, drive me places, give me a massage and then drive by themselves back home to pick up the wife if she needs to go somewhere later?
Grand Tour did drive the Guilia, yes. While I’m not denying the fact that the Guilia is an incredible vehicle, Clarkson would love any Alfa. That being said he took it to Wales and did some driving, no performance testing or actual numbers tracking.
Buy the most expensive full size truck you can and sell it immediately when ypou get there for 300-400% of what you paid. Use the profit to buy something you’d never be able to have here in the States. Friend of mine in the military said lots of guys do this when stationed in Europe and make hundreds of thousands of…
Used Lincoln MKZ Hybrid with massaging chair feature and stop and go cruise.
While I agree with you, the 6 cylinder Jags sound AMAZING, that type of sound would not be as appreciated in a full-size pickup truck.
Agree completely... the only downside is you’re paying $63k to drive a vehicle that looks like that. No matter what the hp or performance numbers are, at the end of the day you’re still driving that ugly thing.
Will Huma get invited?
It’s more of a compensating thing for dudes with small wieners...
Doesn’t help when idiots fail to use the turn signals...
