Many people claim that Nico is a second tier driver yet he was always within a tenth or so of Lewis and sometimes faster. Lewis is very very good but you put a hungry, talented driver beside him and Lewis can be beaten, both in races and for a championship, especially if that driver manages to get inside Lewis’ head.

Yeah but it’d still be a JK underneath. Which is, objectively, a shit vehicle. I’d rather have a $190,000 Range Rover (or a Bentayga or whatever other expensive luxury SUV) over a $45,000 JK with $100,000 in mods.

For however much that is going to cost, I’m willing to bet you could “pimp out” a JK to be overly luxurious, bigger engine, and still come out ahead and with an actual off-road ready SUV. You could even change the 7 slot grille to be that 23 slot monstrosity for some extra bling.
