Agreed. Does anyone know what the translucent thing is around/covering the logo? It’s driving me nuts! Why wouldn’t it just be the chrome logo like most cars? Does it light up? Is it a protective film they left on for the auto-show?

The 2.0T is already emissions certified, pretty sure that’s why they can offer it. It’s same reason that you can get a manual in a Tiguan even though the manual Tiguan take rate is >100/yr

I get that newer DSG/autos are outperforming the manuals in most aspects but a stick shift is just so much fun to drive... it’s a shame that the cars that have manuals nowadays are either the base cheap/small models (Nissan Versa, Ford Focus, etc.) or the higher more expensive lines (certain BMWs and this A5).
