It does look pretty good, but it’s a pile of shit. A friend of my wife’s bought one back in February against my advice (of course!). She’s now trying to lemon-law it.

“Yeah, people are still buying the Patriot. I’m going back to bed.”

And the R5s are supposedly something like half the price of the full-on WRC cars.

If that exact rally car was available to the public for a reasonable price... I can think of another way they could get cash.

I’d say at worst all you probably did was help them realize something they were going to eventually figure out on their own.

“why take the risk of going away from why people buy your cars to make a performance model?”

Presuming you didn’t use profanity when addressing those unfortunate kids, I’d say you did fine. I would have done pretty much the same. No sense going down to his level.

While you are not entirely without guilt here since you engaged him, he was the asshole. Your wife is incorrect.

I was driving my ‘06 Jetta TDI down the road one summer morning on my way to work. It was probably 6:15am and I come up to this newer Pontiac GTO driving 15mph below the 55mph speed limit. Since we are the only cars on the road, I wait until the double yellow stops and I pull out to pass it. Immediately it speeds

So this guy was attempting to pass your car, so you sped up to prevent him from passing you, forcing him to make the dramatic maneuver so he can make his turn. Then you get out of your car to confront him while he is in a car with his family?

Have you driven a Camry of any year and then drove a accord or even a mazda6 right after? It’s unbelievable that that car sells so damn well. I mean the reliability and maintenance cost is low but driving it is like driving a marshmallow.

I truly believe there’s no worse ragers than women in SUVs.

Performance Taco

It seems to work for Honda. Why it works for Honda I have literally no idea that doesn’t involve the cruel jokes of a vengeful god but it does.

Should they even bother with a “performance” [insert any Toyota model here]?

My ‘66 Charger and many old, restored muscle-cars make about this HP. They are definitely not what I would call “safe” from contemporary standards, but the Shakedown should be safer than a lot of the old beasts you see at a cruise night. Some of those cars are running over 500 HP on 4-wheel drum brakes and with only a

I’m happy Dodge did this with their modern engine... something about a ‘67 Mustang body with an 4 cylinder engine just doesn’t seem as cool.

Absolutely gorgeous.

While I love the boxy design of the Jeep Patriot and the Land Rover LR4, the styling of this reminded me of the Dodge Magnum, or in other words, a hearse.

So long as he doesn’t take his car for a coffee he should be OK.

Trying to be cute, but you win dumb comment of the day. Congrats!
