Hmmm. Driving through swamps? At night? With her boyfriend? Maybe "hit that possum" meant something else to him.

Jeopardy! Minor Quibble! Alex incorrectly stated that the correct response to DD1 was, "What is a possum?" Technically, that should be opossum. While possum is a common colloquialism for the American opossum, true possums belong to a separate order and are native to Australia, New Guinea, and Sulawesi.
Walter agrees.
Is Mrs. Miniver too American to be in the mix?
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington was already mentioned above.
My MeTV station shows everything in widescreen format, which means most (all?) shows have that distorted stretchy look.

I thought Jennifer was a cutie. I liked her driving test story even though Alex stepped on the punchline.
Now to reap the whirlwind.
Better the devil you know.
David Cameron has just announced his resignation as Prime Minister and some say Boris Johnson is the odds-on favorite to replace him. Good luck, indeed.
My sentimental all-time favorite is Goldfinger sung by the incomparable Dame Shirley Bassey. Here she is singing the hit in a 1973 concert at the Royal Albert Hall - https://youtu.be/51Wg6k9cWhM
Not because you're wrong, but because you're stupid and mean about your wrongness, while childishly imagining you're wise.

Canada is #1 with 125,567 miles of coastline. Indonesia is #2 with a measly 33,998 miles.
Who is the walrus?
Duck.
Ditto regarding Sally's, um, pulchritude, shall we say. However, minor correction - Sally's correct response for DD2 put her in second place with $6300 to Joe's $10,600. Also, I thought Courier was pretty obvious for a $1600 clue (especially since it followed the $1200 triple stumper for Noteworthy). But that's…
Thank you! My favorite animated movie is Max Fleischer's Gulliver's Travels (1939).
