Regarding your comment about Elisabeth's wagering strategy, wouldn't the same apply to Pat?

Sofia Coppola has been making the rounds promoting The Beguiled and I just heard her on WTF talking about being the baby in Godfather I. I'd like to think it would've been a gimme for me anyway.
Damn.
In the interview portion, Phil related a curious story about an all-day hockey clinic where he got to scrimmage with legendary Detroit Red Wing Gordie Howe - who apparently "wasn't wearing any pants or helmet." Paints quite the picture.
"Complete the rhyme - Chuck Chuck Bo Buck, Banana Nana Fo . . ."
Right? Why are they dumbing it down for teachers of all people?
"Term for something spherical; the transparent snow type is a popular souvenir." Fixed.
Nasim Pedrad?
Whenever anyone misses what seems super obvious, especially given their chosen field, I cut 'em some slack and chalk it up to being under the hot lights while that infernal Jeopardy! music echoes in their head.
In the Fabulous Florida (fabulous?) category, a video clue stated, "The trees at left should tell you the Vizcaya Museum is a landmark of the Miami area called this grove." The writers were going for Coconut Grove, but the trees in the photo were sabal palms (the state tree), not coconut palms.
Who knew building a wall was so complicated?
I'm with you. I, too, find her very attractive.
I was rooting for Julie, but sheesh, that FJ wager made no sense. Yesterday she made the same mistake but got away with it.
The squinting drove me crazy for some reason. And it wasn't even a subtle squint; it was a full on "I'm all alone here and not on national television or anything like that so who cares" squint. Maybe I should lighten up.
Julie's wager from first place made no sense to me. She would've lost if either Adam or Steve had made a sizable wager and had given a correct response. Adam (third place) obviously thought his only chance was if both Julie and Steve missed (or if Steve made a $0 wager). However, Julie didn't do what she was supposed…
I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima.
Will our heads spin? Please say our heads will spin. I love it when my head spins.
I found that clue confusing, too. Maybe some punctuation would've helped?
For instance: In the May 1, 2016 N.Y. Times, "(this hero): The Killing Joke" marked 200 weeks on the hardcover graphic bestseller list."
I've been watching early episodes of the old quiz show What's My Line? available for free on YouTube. The show originated from New York and is a real time capsule of the Big Apple show biz scene from that era.
