No love for Running Man?
No love for Running Man?
"Who here likes early 70s style southern rock?"
I kinda liked the "Lewis Ampersand Clark" sketch featuring actors from the Albany Educational Theater Festival.
"Flatbread pizza? What are we, in line at Legoland?"
Right - the Helping Hands Telethon sketch, where Forte is on the phone bank taking calls from contributors.
The best part of this sketch is that NASA appears to be housed in the office of a small trucking company.
Mountain Men mountin' men?
Wow, you must have really pissed-off your assignment editor to get that gig.
Kind of off topic, but I just saw kind of a funny SNL sketch (I know, right?) . . . on Late Night with Seth Meyers of all places. From Second Chance Theater, a recurring bit that supposedly resurrects rejected SNL sketches, Wanna Come With? features Andy Samberg, along with Kenan Thompson, Greta Gerwig, Seth and some…
But she's said that she's an atheist. However, she's open to theism and aspires to be a person of faith some day. So, odd and a little confusing.
Thanks for the fun link to the interactive map. Drives home how much Mercator projection distorts the size of countries to the far north and south. For instance, on a Mercator map Algeria looks quite small compared to Greenland but Algeria is actually bigger.
I thought the FJ answer was either Algeria or Libya and went with Libya (#4). Kaberi's DRC/Congo answer was pretty good since it ranks a very close #2 - its area is 98% that of Algeria's. Jill's answer, Nigeria, is down the list at #14.

I thought that, too. And I was hoping that as they walked by the mole people one them would be Stephen Root with a red Swingline stapler.
Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen Bobby Moynihan that close to breaking. I find occasional breaking funny, even endearing (e.g. see Dratch doing Debbie Downer). But if it's done so often that it becomes a performer's schtick (see Fallon), then it becomes more about the performer than the bit and is just plain…
Tried Googling here in the US and got the same SBS stuff.
Carvey's been making the rounds pushing his new show, First Impressions, that premiers Tuesday, 5/10, on the USA Network. It's a competition show for up-and-coming celebrity impressionists.
I also think she's exceptionally talented, and was therefore surprised she had to lip sync (at least her first song - my dvr didn't record the last half hour for some reason - Thanks, Comcast!).
Plus, it was a great night for fun buns and mud guns.
I think Russell Simmons is the head vampire.
