my boss is former marine and LAPD who can’t let go of the good ol’ days. he sent out a company wide email on the “disrespectful” nfl players (coincidentally a day before 45's statements). i wear my Kap jersey to work every casual Friday and on days i feel the spirit move me, i wear my schools not prisons shirt.

I don’t know if I’d call it “fun” from what I’ve played, but it is a VERY interesting experience.

Although these answers will undoubtedly lead some to cry censorship—to accuse Nintendo of forcing its Japanese developers to make changes just to appeal to Western gamers—

This looks great. I like the movement system and the fact that you can seamlessly transition from flying to swimming to running. I will admit that I would have preferred a 1st person aspect as opposed to a 3rd person one, but it’s a very, very minor nitpick as far as I’m concerned.

This game has been rumored for some time, and I’m quite excited for it. Sorry for all those that are disappointed or just want to hate on this, but there is a large segment of people that that are eagerly anticipating.

I gotta say, that game looks gorgeous, but (there’s always a “but”) it sure didn’t tell me much.

Welp. That looks impressive.

Destiny with a bit of Warframe and Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay. I won’t lie, it looks pretty good.

is different from taking one look at the headline photo of an article about a game, and assuming that it represents the totality of the thing itself.

It isn’t the responsibility of consumers to market a game to themselves. No one has a responsibility to research this game before deciding not to buy it.

If a person wrote a comment here about liking the aesthetic elements of the game, but not being interested in playing an action-rpg, would you put as much effort

If the creative people with whom Anita Sarkeesian meets have so little conviction in their work that they wilt to her whims the moment she talks about what she values in the depiction of women in games, that’s on them, no?

Three thoughts, which are all able to co-exist quite nicely in my head:

Hanzo is a superfun character with a rich redemption-based storyline and a fuedal Japan type of background. Good, but feeds into dumb stereotypes about white boys obsessed with anime.

Is she alive?

Well this just looks silly!

This is a microcosm/macrocosm perspective issue.

It certainly sucks to be denied opportunities because a given demographic enclave wants to keep its area “pure,” but you are experiencing in a particular neighborhood what persons of racial and ethnic backgrounds other than Anglo-European (and I’m not even getting into

This “clarification” that JonTron has offered makes part of his problem incredibly clear.

It is perfectly possible for a person of a racial or ethnic background other than “Anglo-European” to hold particular prejudice—or even racist beliefs—toward white folk. Similarly, it is possible for a woman to hold sexist beliefs

I honestly think it’s because Bioware, more than any other AAA developer, deliberately goes out of their way to be thoughtful and inclusive in the games they write. And that’s a thorn in the side of the manbabies who think that women, people of color and sexual minorities were invented in a lab at SJW University as a

Firstly, they pretend hate any “AAA” developer. And I mean pretend hate because at the end of the day, that’s the only games these type of gamers will buy. They don’t want anything below max res and fps. Hardware and specs are the only thing that matters. Fun is for beta cucks.

See I would like a repair function that is limited. Not a smith or anything you can find everywhere, but maybe like a fairy that you have to pay, or spent a resource like korok seeds to repair. This way if you are still likely to throw away most weapons but if you have that one sword you really really like you have
