The hammer with a description that states it’s specifically for mining actually does a huge amount of damage to them if you use it on their weak bit!

I ran like hell from the first rock guy I saw. Then I was told that you can climb them and so I tried and killed it in one charge attack from the heavy hammer weapon (it’s a spin attack that hits with every spin).

I started my first giant fight by hitting him, running under his legs then hit him again...until he but stomped me. I then shot him in the eye a few times, until he started covering it. Fair point. Part of the annoyance with durability is constant trips to get gear repaired. Still, I can’t believe the Master Sword can be broken. I wish they had made a small number of unbreakable magical items in the game. Oh well, I don’t have it yet, but I still plan to play this game very soon.

The core isn’t going to change that much, is more of a streamlining than a complete overhaul.

Not sure yet. YOSHI said that he hates the idea of static rotations and wishes to speed the game up and eliminate rotations.
