In with you. Normally these types of teaser don't do much for me and are kind of a let down but this was enough to get me hyped. Was dying for a Dead Space game all last gen so confirmation of a next-gen Dead Space Remake is all I need to be hyped.

That’s been my stance since the Switch-Pro was rumored. Just seemed a little too late for a mid-gen upgrade. Makes more sense for them to make a true successor that is backwards compatible but able to improve standard switch games while also having its own exclusives, just like a Series X or PS5.

Nintendo doesn’t need a Switch with PS5/Series X hardware but sooner or later they’re going to need to release an upgrade, whether a “mid-gen” update or a full successor, where 1080p/30fps (and ideally 1080p/60fps) isn’t an issue. Big reason why I currently don’t have much interest in the game. My free time is limited and sporadic. Don't want to dedicate my time to a game built around surviving long runs when I never really know how long I'll be able to play and I don't want to have to rely on rest mode. 

I think I might remember the same moment. If I recall most of the save areas in those games were safe rooms similar to the RE games but I can remember one where a necromorph popped up either right before the room or when you walked into the save area.

Agree but that is basically the internet though right? Everything is exaggerated to hyperbolic levels. If something isn’t presented as either the worst or best then it might as well not even be talked about at all based on how people on the internet operate.

FF7 for PS4 is currently on sale for $30 on amazon. Unless they offer a paid upgrade option for the PS+ version you'd be better off getting the PS4 version now instead of waiting for the PS5 version and having to pay $70 for the upgrades and new content.
