I was just thinking on Sunday that the idea of a “shut down defense” is basically extinct judging on how this season has gone. Defenses can have good games but I haven’t seen one team this season where I think “I wouldn’t want to go up against that defense.” The Bears might be the closest but even then I don’t see th

Fair enough. Like I said it’s not a game for everyone. Even being a fan of the game, RDR2 is a game I have to be in the mood for to play for reason we both mentioned (wonky controls, slow paced, the realistic nature of the game, etc).

I haven’t played Odyssey but I can see people being turned off by some elements of RDR2. The game is very slow paced, requires a lot of horse riding from point A to point B (and not exactly short distances), isn’t anything that special in terms know gunplay mechanics, and the realistic nature and mechanics of the

Surprised to see that RDR2 did not make the most recent cut. I wonder what the reasoning would be to leave it off the list.

But the ball being thrown is in reaction to the initial act of bad sportmanship. If Murray doesn’t take that shot Kyrie doesn’t throw the ball. There is always going to be some sort of retaliation when a player takes an unnecessary shot at the buzzer.

Did you happen to watch the game? It’s not like the Celtics’ defense avoided Murray like the plague and allowed him to take any shot he wanted. The dude was just making shots as if the defense wasn’t even there. And it wouldn’t have mattered if Murray scored 50, 100, or 0 that’s a shot that every NBA player and most

Murray also seemed to look towards the bench as the clock was running out as if he was looking for confirmation about what he should do. Like you said it was as if he knew he wasn’t suppose to take the shot but he just couldn’t resist the temptation. Im sure there teammates encouraging him to fire away as well.

These are just strange times we are living in and for younger kids growing up it has to be difficult and confusing to understand what’s right and what’s wrong, what is appropriate and inappropriate, what’s fact and fiction, etc. The interactions and socialization that take place in online gaming (or online in general

For me this was going to be a tough sell regardless of the games. Even if the game list was great I feel like this would be something I’d play for a few days then barely touch again. But even then I still can’t believe how underwhelming the collection is. A lot of the best titles on the list have been ported or re-rele

Well that’s actually another great feature of the rest mode, all the updates and patches will download automatically when in rest mode. I rarely have to worry about waiting for downloads since most updates will download while I’m out and about. However I did just learn while trying to install RDR2 that games dont ins

My brother and I were talking about this just the other day. It’s so damn convenient. Before the suspend feature having only 10-15 minutes to play a game just seemed like a waste of time. By the time the console and game booted and loaded a majority of that time was already gone. Now, even if I only have 5 minutes t

Pick one massive game” and “Take What you can get” are essentially the two methods I’ve been using as of late and it has definitely helped with completing games.

Going along with the main point of the article it’s nice and refreshing to have an open world game that is willing to do things differently. For some gamers it might not be a better or funner experience but at least it is something unique and different in comparison to a majority of the open world games that are relea

That’s worst case scenario stuff. The videogame industry isn’t the first or only place where these issues exist(ed). I’m pretty sure sexism and overworking employees was essentially a model for companies and businesses a few decades ago. We are learning a lot about just how corrupt Hollywood and the movie industry is

For f’ing sake, get over it!”

I have a similar feeling. Crunch and overworking employees is bad but I can’t help but believe it happens in many fields and work places. I think our impressions and opinions of a lot of things would be effected negatively if we knew the behind the scenes of every work environment. With the way this story has been

Not to mention my favorite part of Kotaku reviews, no scores, which I think forces the reviewer to focus on the article and writing. The reviewers really need to go into detail about the game with both objective and subjective impressions when writing these reviews. The reviews are one reason why Kotaku is my most res

“or at most a few friends”

Thinking of it as a spin-off I think it was a good opportunity to try something different with the series. There are probably plenty of Fallout fans that have thought about an online-Fallout. We know what single player Fallout is. The last 3 games have been pretty similar. Why not try something different?

First off, best wishes to Reigns/Anoa’i. Just a terrible situation that you would hate to see anyone have to go through.
