There is a jailbreak app to allow attaching files to Mail app; haven't tried it but wanted to let you know. AnyAttach ($2.99) and has DropBox integration.

Definitely tried that. Also read on forums to put it in Airplane mode and to delete backups. None of that worked to any avail.

Anyone else getting an error of 3200 after it extracts the software??

Does it still cost money to put your own files on the Kindle? That was always a deal breaker for me.
