One line of dialogue. "I'll explain [the plan] on the way." Done.

That's another thing I wish the show had spent a line or two of dialogue on. How do the Boltons see Sansa? As someone so desperate to get back to Winterfell she'll marry the son of the man who arranged for the assassination of her mother and murdered her brother himself? Do they think she had anything to do with

However little credit I give to the wisdom of Littlefinger's plan even I don't think it involves Sansa bearing Ramsay a son. Or at least I hope it doesn't.

Between the first and second time, would Tommen have eaten a beet if Margaery had asked him to? However much Littlefinger sees himself as a magician of chaos in the game of thrones, however much Varys and Tyrion ponder the issue, sometimes power isn't a trick or obtained by executing a multilayered stratagem.

But if the downside is "the North will fight us to install Sansa" you could say the same about fake Arya. They don't have the strength to in either case and she (fArya/Sansa) adds legitimacy. You're right, though. Fake Arya is their puppet. Real Sansa is an ally whose motivation is entirely unclear.

While I have no idea what Roose and Ramsay are supposed to think Sansa's motivation is if there's no benefit to a living Sansa there's no benefit to a living fake Arya, either. You could make all the same arguments against that.

Receiving sword training was his pay increase.

I don't know where they're going with it but I wish they'd had Littlefinger spell out how he expected her to get revenge. Maybe she fails and is then put in danger but at least there'd have been a plan that didn't sound like

The conversation ended, Sansa rode off and I thought "That's it? Went with the first draft of that scene, huh?"

I doubt they'd have mentioned the Stone Men if Tyrion and Jorah weren't going to travel that way. The show doesn't strictly follow the geography of the books. They mentioned Thoros in case anyone was wondering how Tyrion knew about the Lord of Light.

Littlefinger promising Roose that Sansa's still a virgin wasn't enough of a reversal for you?

Well, now it's not funny anymore. You crossed the line, Floki!

Edit: same quote as below.

When I was around that age I had the Millennium Falcon but no Han Solo figure. So, in day care I let the group play with the ship as long as someone else would let me be Han. Why did I have one without the other when the Falcon had to have been much more expensive than a single action figure? Was my mother trying to

It's commendable for a media format popular with teens and pre-teens to be positive about homosexuality but I can't get past how clunky that top panel reads, and, even if it marks me as immature, how much it reminds me of the exchange between Master Shake and Meatwad at the end of the "Frat Aliens" episode of Aqua

"Scored my first NHL goal this year. NBD."

But they were the severed heads of soldiers fighting for a man who raped his six-year-old niece. Show me the POV of the average citizen of Paris during that raid. That'd be nuance. I wasn't arguing that the show presents vikings as "pure good." Just that they show everyone else as equally bad or worse.

Checked her Wikipedia page hoping not to see any children listed. Two sons. Is that better than if there'd been a daughter? I can't say right now. You all decide. I'll be over here wrapped up in an ambulance blanket.

I don't think either is shown as true on the show. Porunn isn't a foreigner. It was her understanding when she was a slave that Bjorn could rape her any time he wanted. Yes, the Christians depicted on the show treat women poorly almost to a man. I don't remember if Aelle has. If he hasn't I'm sure he'll have a line in

Sure, audience members may contextualize it, but are they encouraged to at all? The show cuts away as the "heathens" attack soldiers in the city. Then the Princess says they grabbed some stuff and left. We've had half a season where, if we identify with the protagonist, we're supposed to want him to sack Paris
