An opinion is an opinion, and you’re far from alone in not liking this movie, but did we really need to know who Snoke was?

Why does Snoke’s backstory matter? We don’t know Obi-Wan’s backstory, and it makes not a whit of difference. Ditto for Yoda. Every i and t does not need to be dotted and crossed.

Because what science needs is oversight by people with little or no science background or understanding and several obvious biases…

The project I'm working on is currently working on a grant for $3 mill from the NSF. My boss is a dyed in the wool libertarian who denounces all government spending and would like to see the government cut down to nothing. The irony, apparently, is totally lost on him.

That is Chris Tucker not Chris Rock...

I loved the everlasting shit out of this movie, and it deserves more love than it's getting right now. And that diva scene was something I had never seen in a sci-fi action movie before. It was, in a word, sublime.

You would have to be a total snore to not enjoy The Fifth Element. Its awesome.

That's the first homer by a Met in a long time!

Have you all lost sense? Clearly the best new GOT scenes are anything where Varys and Littlefinger are alone, of which there are two. Sidenote, Littlefinger is channeling some Christian Bale in the second scene.

You're mostly right. I, too, enjoyed those scenes for the same reasons, but if Tywin ever knew that was Arya, not for a second would he hesitate to take her prisoner and use her to advance Lannister power however he saw fit.

I liked the GoT scene you mention a lot, but my favorite might have been Tywin's speech to Jaime while he's skinning a deer. It showed they really had an understanding of these characters in that they could contrive a new scene that revealed further depths to the characters that still seemed utterly true to the books

Best GoT new scenes: Arya and Tywin in season two.

"Puny God".

So, you don't like movies that are fun, filled with great quotable lines, and memorable characters that have personality outside "I FIGHT CRIME"

The team of Judge Dredds was amazing!
