I think there’s been a perception that the Tesla Model S is a luxury car in the same sense that a BMW or Mercedes is. It’s never been anything more than the Camry/Accord of EVs, so the Taykan being a lot nicer isn’t surprising.

I hear ya. I have a 20' ceiling that i had to rent a ladder to replace the lamps in (also philips MR-16 LED’s). I wouldn’t want to replace those fixtures either.
My concern is that the conclusion to replace with incandescent really doesn’t address your problem and its a step backwards with where the whole lighting…
