Except in the narrative that is The U.S. of A. no villains are foiled by anyone, really.

*rocky and bullwinkle intervene* - saving the day at the last minute.

*Russian Spy: AAAAAAAAAH gosht damneeeeeeet. foiled again by moose and squirrel!!!!

And the hilarious thing is that I could to-o-otally accept that kind of poor decision-making from almost anyone in the Trump Administration...

*ring ring*

please dont denigrate those shirt cuff’s embroidery IQ.

please don’t denigrate that generic fictional toddler’s IQ.

And even if he were older, pharmacists are required to go through continuing education. I’m sure that older pharmacists have heard of these drugs before, what they do, and their effects. Or they should know uses of these drugs.

Under his eye...

Ugh. Right? Like, imagine if there was a cashier at a grocery store who was all, “I’m sorry, I see meat products (or condoms!) in your cart so I refuse to check you out for moral reasons, you’ll have to go line up at another register.”

Most, maybe as high as 90%, prescriptions require that pharmacists be able to count, to read, and to push the right buttons in a software package so the correct label gets printed.

Not exactly true, especially since the PharmD program was created. I am a clinical pharmacist who specializes in mental health. I see patients in clinic, assess their symptoms, and can adjust medications under a scope of practice. Many retail pharmacists are also beginning to expand their functions and do medication

I’m a vegetarian and I used to work at a grocery store, and now I can’t help picturing what it would have been like if I’d done this.

I couldn’t disagree more. My spouse is a clinical pharmacist, and they’re deeply involved in patient care. Their training/schooling went well, well beyond simply learning functional groups and mechanisms of action, although it was of course not equivalent in all aspects to what an MD’s school is.

Sorry, I don’t mean to

pharmacists put pills in a bottle, they should have no say in anything

Actually, at least in the US, they are absolutely medical professionals. American pharmacists go through four years of college college plus four years of postgraduate education to receive a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and are licensed by state medical boards. This is in part because they have legitimate reasons to deny

According to a link someone else posted, he graduated from pharmacy school in 2014. So he’s probably in his late 20s or early 30s.

Aaahhhh.... The scent of the tiki torch is strong with this one.

I also saw The Keepers, great show. Anyway, I don’t know which gyno in North Korea you’ve been seeing, but anytime I made a gyno appointment at a new practice, the FIRST question they ask is “do you have a preferred gender for you doctor?” (In fact, I also got that when I was signing up for an internal medicine

I’m sorry you had to go through that (I feel like that could almost be traumatizing, but maybe standing by and doing nothing would feel terrible too).

CPR isn’t even super effective. And even I, a non-medical professional, knew that. Because I read sometimes. Rick Santorum is an intellectually incurious dolt.
