Pffffft. Who only needs one garlic clove, seriously? I mean, I've needed one MORE garlic clove, but never just one ;) You should totally check out the garlic soup recipe on Smitten Kitchen. It's amazing.

I know we don't know each other very well, but I think we need to take a road trip to Maryland.

Don't just want a crab pretzel, I NEED a crab pretzel - I can't believe I haven't come across one before

I've never had a crab pretzel, but right now I want one so bad it hurts. With a side of fried Thai green beans.

I make a garlic spread where I stick whole peeled cloves in a baking dish with salt, pepper, and olive oil, covered with foil, then bake it for like 30 min or until the garlic is so soft you can spread it with a knife. It doesnt have to be perfect looking garlic but it makes it look so much nicer if it is.

I also try to avoid single function tools. Something that works pretty fucking wells is an old plastic jar (mine was for peanut butter, so on the small side). Throw your cloves in there, and shakety shake it around, and out comes naked garlic gloves. Doesn't work so well for a single clove, but who peels a single

Oh how i loved this scene from Community.

Excuse you. I am a very important person who sells monogrammed coffee thermoses and I will have you know they are a PERFECT gift.

Good question. I like it whole because I use my microplane grater to "chop it." But more importantly, I find it is actually easier to get the skin off using this method. As for cleanup, the skins just sort of come out but if I want I run it under water and BOOM, clean. I never wash mine as the skins are dry and don't

I consider a toaster an essential part of every kitchen and therefore ineligible. If you don't have a toaster you aren't LIVING.

Race was handled in the very first episode and then the show proceeded to treat the characters like normal human beings. It's really refreshing!

OMG! I just discovered Sleepy Hollow last week and binge watched the first season in two days. I love that show and I am glad that in the midst of every thing two badass characters happen to be black, and sisters and that the the major villains are not made up of the only POC on the show.

I have to admit that I *love* white clothing, especially when it's gauzy and flowy and ethereal. But the people who pull it off the best are darker skinned women.

Default = White Male. Only change default settings in case of emergency! There's no REASON for anybody to be indian, female, or any of those other interchangeable "Ohh All Right We'll Issue A Token" diversity checkboxes that spoil alllll the fun.

"That show is awkward because there's actually no reason for that character to be Indian."

That's bone. And the lettering is something called Silian Rail.

I mean, these people ARE trying to kill me.
