when i got easter candy as a kid, the bunny would put the peeps in the basket unwrapped, so that when i got it in the morning, the peeps had gone stale and shitty. i just assumed that was how they were always meant to be and didn’t like them as a result.

i mean, they’re shunting the dirge of cerberus crowd into a throwaway dlc chapter where they’re gonna get clowned on by the optional ninja character, so i think this is a decent way of keeping the trash out of the way while satisfying all three fans of dirge
