if you cut out all the star wars cruft from rogue one, it is a nothing movie. there are no characters to give a shit about, everyone is entirely one-note, the only reason anything has any weight is because it assumes you remember things from a 1977 movie.

i’m going back to college to study neurosurgery so that i can figure out which part of my stupid lizard brain keeps caring about star wars and burn it out with a white-hot piece of wire

that was a good thing about that movie, what are you talking about?

I think i can count on one hand the number of times my ps4 has bluescreened in-game, and I dont think any game has done so more than once. I don’t think wanting a game to not do that is having too high standards

that’s weird, the most half-assed take i’ve ever seen was “🥺🥺woe is me i’m just not intewested in youw opinions about cybewpunk🥺🥺🥺”

it’s fucked up that they keep putting guns to your head and forcing you to read them then

if you seriously can’t grasp why it’s cool to be in a green target, then your soul is profoundly rotten and you’ll never find the nourishing love your heart desires

i was able to play through it thanks to a few friends/cousins with the requisite supplies. it was...fine

based on the trailer, meteor seems to be a stage event for his new stage, the Planet’s Core. assuming anything means anything anymore, his final smash seems to be him turning into his final boss form that we see at the very end of the trailer

took ‘em a couple years, but there’s finally a smash dlc character i’m legitimately hyped for

man, just straight-up kill me. it took less than a year for mandalorian to turn from something mildly fun and stand-alone into shameless brand extension and cross-promotion, so i really can’t wait for star wars to just become a tangled mess of cw shows all referencing each other without being fun for anybody who

this could be you but you playin

this could be you but you playin

inducing a potentially deadly brain spasm in myself for twitter clout, gonna get rich off this, can’t wait

i mean, maybe if you think genre is nothing but semiotics and a series of signifiers that have to be present to be considered representative of the genre, then i guess you’ll like this game, but if you want a cyberpunk story to actually be about something more than “wow! cool future! robot arms! prostitutes!” then

lol he had less than a week to play this game and turn it into a coherent review, give him a break. if he hadn’t tempered his misgivings with “i dunno” then all of this game’s shitty stans would be sending death threats, as they do

i dunno, if i had the same faults with a book, it would make sense to dock points in the review. it’s almost like, people engage, with fiction, in ways that are important

I don’t know why this review expects the game to “say” something about diversity or trans culture or the world. It’s not an emotional indie game with a message. It’s not a personal project focused on a topic or a message.

that’s frankly pathetic. i would rather kill myself than experience media that way
