i cannot imagine the sheer agony of jumping from Empire, a movie where characters have chemistry and emotions, to Clones. like going from Metal Gear Solid 5 straight to Metal Gear.

as shitty as this movie is, i still consider it better than the two that came after. at least this movie has a podrace. revenge of the sith spends half its runtime on obi-wan hunting down a total nothing of a character, and attack of the clones does even less.

i’m envious. i’ve kept at it up until last year, and it’s just too much. there has been one (1) good star wars movie since Return of the Jedi, and every bit of the franchise has shit like this where we’re meant to remember and care about a robot that existed for 10 seconds in a 40-year-old movie.
