I’ve spent this week replaying Hitman the 2016 Hitman game that’s called Hitman as though there were no previous games with that title and goddamn this game is still dope.

i mean, you can dislike the art style, idgaf. but you apparently think the animation is bad, which is kinda something that can be argued objectively, which i’d love to hear, particularly from the most ardent defender of 2012's least memorable isekai, i’m sure those opinions will help with my insomnia

there is a lot of that, but there’s also spots where they start caring about the plot and everything about it is overly belabored. there’s a whole mythos that is introduced entirely in earnest about 30 minutes before the credits roll and it is thematically muddled as hell and pointlessly complex.
