if the batter had sprinted to first then Kinsler doesn’t let the ball drop since it is unlikely that the throw to first would beat the runner.  Alternatively, if Kinsler does let it drop then you’re most likely just looking at a simple force out at second.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I totally agree with her to a point.  Parents need to recognize when their kid is causing problems for those around them while in public and get them away from people as soon as possible.  But then, I can’t stand kids to begin with  so there’s that.

I thought he flopped. Sure Maroon pushed off, but it wasn’t strong enough to knock him down, especially in the stance he was in.
