From the shocking twist at the end of episode one, I needed Kilgrave dead. As the series ran on and he just racked up more and more inhuman atrocities of callous murder and toying with human lives, i became fatigued with the need to see him dead. I would have rioted if he'd survived this season.

It's unfortunate you don't like the Hogarth subplot… I recommend looking at her character as something you're intended to compare to Kilgrave's. I think the show intentionally sets up a number of mirrors of Kilgrave, in a sense.
yeah, Nick's little "this is my world" speech… when I heard it, I said out loud "that would have been really deep in like 1987."
I think a subtle message in the episode may have been that the total segregation of men and women on Gazorpazorp ultimately had negative effects on the character of both, thus the show is promoting gender integration
