Absolutely fucking no. Not only should they not have to tip, their free shift drink should be served with a goddamned “thank you”.

well yeah because its worker solidarity, which trumps participating in capitalism
Tips shouldn’t be expected from staff. You’re all in the fight together, plus in this case FOH already makes more money than BOH. Any FOH that gets mad that BOH doesn’t tip for an after-shift drink is a dick.
I don’t understand why people are acting shocked and treating this as a pivot on the practice of tipping. This isn’t anti-tipping advice, this a statement advocating WORKER SOLIDARITY.
No.
Well, did you know that she’s the daughter of the late John McCain??? Did you?! Just watch the show, she’ll tell you (100x’s).
She was endorsed by the NEW YORK TIMES! And guess what? They also endorsed another white woman!
“There was only one problem: People on the internet were absolutely convinced Bernie’s army fought everyone, even though it was really just a small minority of them. In those days, internet people didn’t realize that they weren’t the majority, and journalists went along with it because pretending whatever was on…
So you are saying the media is being hard on her, but you are taking it as fact that Bernie said that. Looks like you got that idea from somewhere. Did you read news articles on it? See any news stories on it? What convinced you?
It’s partly caused by the boomers in power holding down any possible replacements. Pelosi, in particular, has been great at tamping down young rising politicians.
Can we get the other candidates on the debate stage to agree to always use the term “another Republican trying to buy an election" whenever they refer to Bloomberg?
She moved away from the left on Medicare for all and that hurt her. Rhetoric wins elections though.
And I genuinely believe he can defeat Trump.
I agree, Liz was doing well til she moved toward the center and her numbers went down. I think if she would have stayed left she would be winning this.
A lot of people put value in someone who has had consistent morals throughout their entire career.
Cannot star this enough. Has anyone even asked themselves why Bloomberg got in the race to begin with?? It was when Elizabeth was riding high!
In fairness (to the people dismissing Warren), the primary we had was in a state adjacent to her “home” state, and a majority of the primary state’s population lives within the same media market as Warren’s “home” state. Her getting half as many votes as Amy Klobuchar is pretty damning. Warren should’ve enjoyed…
>Fervent supporters of Bernie Sanders, who is Warren’s closest ideological counterpart, will likely never switch their allegiance; they’re with him to the end and are uncompromising on the issue of Medicare for All.
I think she started getting erased as soon as she proposed the plan for her wealth tax. Who owns the media? Rich people. God forbid they pay their fare share — which they might have to if Warren is elected.
You hit the nail on the head. But questioning the dominance of competitive sports is a third rail.
