you carry over skill points in skills, like rod or sword, over to other classes that also have those so you should probably make sure you have enough skill points available to max the class specific stuff. Yeah I think the only real problem with the game was the classes don't really open up until you've got close to the end. Even with that said the class system worked really well, swords carried over to sword other sword classes, etc.

9 is cool as hell. Wish the next single player game takes more inspiration from it. Not fighting bosses 64 times though. That's brutal when you already have metal slime guys to deal with.

Yeah but it's time to save up for a new console now. The last gen versions of games play more like ports at this point and games that look good are finally dropping this year.

The PvP in those games really added to replayability. Also a bit of co-op would make getting souls so easy for new builds. dS 2 made the horrendous soul memory decision though and bucked that trend.
