I think a lot of people are going to stay away. Honestly they made some really great looking gear but it doesn't add to your light level. You don't heave to defend Bungie and Activision. They engineered a game with a very repetitive loop for the endgame and a quite frankly non existent story. I don't see how it

It's still just running old content over and over. The gear you get for marks is also always less good than one that spawns in the wild. God, this game is just gross.

they needed more testing, as the game at launch showed. Their light system was just painfully tied to other systems, like drop rates, that made the hours spent kind of useless. If gear doesn't drop in the nightfall or raid run you might as well not come back until next Tuesday, and dlc with a new raid won't fix

What is the useful effect of this system though? In the end everyone who is over level 28 looks the same b/c that's the only way to be stronger. It's literally one of the worst systems I've ever seen.

I think of DA 2 as like a deep cut, there's good stuff there for big fans, but in general it's a bad game. But some people prefer it to Origins, so who knows. But if you already played some of it. You know what it's like and it just gets worse and worse with combat being boring except for a few difficulty spikes

Yeah but Far Cry looks fun. Also the Tay review of Unity was pretty positive, so I wonder what the consensus on Unity will be in a few months.

maybe, tank controls are pretty terrible. AC spawned a bunch of imitators though, some from Ubisoft, that sort of show, in my eyes, that AC is a terrible game to be holding this thing up. It's too constricted and if they made another series the flagship and went to AC games every 3 years the series might last.

I get the appeal, just I think it's not the best gameplay for an annual franchise. Just milked to death at this point and some gamers might see Mordor and such and question whether the series is worth a buy any more.

I think assassins creed sucks. It always sucked. Just running around doing fetch quests.

Too Many Cooks is amazing. I don't even know how to describe it. For a while AS was doing those infomercials but now it's like they are beyond pretense and just want to do concept jokes that nobody else can do.

yep. But at the same time you see its kind of the flaw with the big gaming sites-they couldn't give a shit if they tried. Was it Polygon that gave ToX 2 a 6... I think most of these sites don't see any incentive in talking about JRPGs or the Vita since it doesn't really do anything but make them look out of touch.

Yeah but it's a neat little weekly rollout. It might help keep interest up a bit and spread the word of mouth buzz for the game leading to more sales overall. That could really help if they choose to do something substantial like an expansion down the road. It won't get the same sort of money Ubisoft will bring in

So you don't like EO games?

So can the DLC possibly be good enough to keep people playing? Like beyond the hard core, are they going to release something good enough? I don't want to cast aspersions, but after playing the game for about a month I have to be honest and say I don't see myself getting DLC for this game.

Maybe they'd still be localizing the series if you had filed the Yakuza 4 review on time.

Yeah Bethesda went through a real rough patch trying to make more console friendly games and the Oblivion/F3 era just kills me.

I think it's worth mentioning Destiny's loot system does suck. You basically have everyone who is level 30 looking about the same. There's a point before level 20 where everyone looks unique and different, then everyone's character slowly starts to morph into the same looking characters. Doesn't matter if there's a

Wizardry style.
