Just like Kevin Smith dresses really cool in a 1991 kinda way.

Maaaybe.

Or the UK. It’s missing a few to say the least.

I’ve only tried the Original Pancake House in Boulder, which closed some years back, and it was horrible. Then after they closed, The Buff, which used to be great, moved in and somehow became not so great. Perhaps the building is cursed.

I know right. Who else gets a fucking hug and personal bible from the judge as they go off to jail for murder.

Unless the engine is trashed due to a BHG or there’s some other major issue that has yet to be reveal (which is definitely possible in this case), the actual market for these cars is much higher. A $4K example would be considered the top end of the basket case/thrashed category for these cars.

Didn’t catch the Houston element. So flood possibility too?

Good point about the head gasket, but if we make some assumptions that this car is running fine, a ‘91 + 5 speed + turbo, even if a little rough with the paint and higher in miles, should get a good bit more than $5K. So yeah, that’s with some BIG assumptions though.

I can imagine that once you’re settled inside it doesn’t matter, but when you see both the outside and interior at the same time, the colors clash too much for me. I would definitely prefer this over the maroon interiors that were popular in the ‘80s though.

Well, to be fair, a MKIII with a manual, turbo, and being the penultimate model year for that generation, those are all very highly sought after things that increase value on this car. And if the interior is in okay shape and the body is decent, it would be reasonable to ask for closer to $10K.

CP, primarily due to mileage. Also the color combo sucks for this car... or any car. Was Maroon with a grey interior really a factory option?

Hm, I definitely wasn’t suggesting that.

I suspect Lars is a huge enabler who needs to clean his own house already.

Sounds pretty tame, which I suppose is good if being a daily, but personally, I’d prefer it at least one louder.

I always make sure to skip the “funny” guitar song.

You don’t want to know how I used to pronounce “banal”...
