My only streaming is done via the latest chrome cast devices running GoogleTV. I was really excited for their promise to unify my watchlists and let me just pick the show/movie I wanted to watch while it figures out which of my subscriptions that content is available on. That’s android auto rather then Android Automotive. Android auto is mirrored from a phone and limited to basic navigation and media playback. Android Automotive is a native OS for the infotainment system and extends control into more of the cars systems, like climate, etc.

Yup, easy to mix up given googles naming choices.
