I noticed the final achievement listed in the Storyline section of achievements is called "Slap Joffrey". I presume that gets you killed. After the storyline ends you can reincarnate on the same account with a different character and play with fealty to a different Great House.

You do not have to pester anyone on your friends list. You can friend other players in-game (without them knowing who you really are) and pester them as they want to go on quests with you and trade favors, broker marriages, etc.
