I see your point- I could see the trolls saying “stop killing yourselves” referencing the black-on-black crimes stats and having Richard Sherman as their poster child, but...bear with me....You’ve got the 10% who are just against. They’re against love, they’re against brotherhood, against progress. They are the

“This gives us up to three years to research whether something should be permanently controlled or whether it should revert back to non-controlled status.”

Excellent anecdote. My own experience has been less about the pain managment aspect (didn’t work as well for me), and more about how it interacted extremely positively with my brain chemistry.
I’m naturally tolerant to opioids, and kratom made it so the “typical” internal reward mechanism in the brain actually

As someone who greatly benefited from the use of kratom in the past, this really angers me.
I didn’t use it to treat addiction, but was attempting to use it for pain management after my motorcycle accident.
It didn’t work, but it did something far, far better.
It made me feel, for once, like a normal, functioning member

Counterpoint: I was in a spectacular accident a few years ago. Over the course of things I became heavily addicted to opiates. When the whole debacle began the doctors put me on tramadol at my request because I did not want to start the narcotic downward spiral. But since I was also prescribed a SSRI, I ended up with

Hey, DEA - WE DON’T NEED YOUR FUCKING BABYSITTING, ASSHOLES.

Start acting a lot differently or you will be gone in a generation.

I’m not surprised. This cuts into the suboxone/nalaxone market.

I was going to go with that but I thought it would be too conspiracy-ish. Happy to know I should’ve trusted my better instincts.

It’s more like “the pharmaceutical companies are losing money because too many people are turning to Kratom instead of expensive, life-destroying pharmaceuticals for pain-relief, anxiety, depression, etc..

Technically - the constituents of kratom are alkaloids, not opiods - this is because their chemical structure is different.

“We want to make sure that opioid abusers revert back to using opioids so that we can have some people to arrest/intimidate/sequester for information.”

You and I shouldn’t have to acquiesce to an unlawful arrest because we’re more likely to get shot if we don’t.

If you’re going to quote those numbers, quote all of them. White people are twice as likely to be rapists, and significantly more likely to commit aggravated assault. These numbers are all biased though, because they only count arrests. Many violent crimes have no arrests made, and arrests are more likely to be made

While racism is absolutely a nationwide issue, I’d argue that this game is bringing people of different races and colors together.

This is gonna be one of those comment sections, so I just want to say I appreciate you sharing with your experience and hope things get better.

Agreed. He’s not saying Pokemon Go is bad or wrong, he’s just pointing out that loitering and wandering around with your phone like a creeper is more dangerous for a black person than a white person.

I wish more dudes would groom simply because of how gross it is to leave your little curly inch-long pubic hairs on the urinals at work.
