Goodell is out to get Cam. If I were him, I’d retire yesterday and become a teeth model. Good grief his teeth are amazing.
Remember, the league made a show this summer of the punitive measures it enacted to address any failures to adhere to its concussion protocol
Why, in every single article about this ridiculous situation, do you and the other writers couch your statements with things like “Charitably, it’s possible that human error was the reason Newton was not examined until after the game”?
The whole thing is an absolute joke. Cam didn’t get calls that traditional “pocket passers” would’ve gotten, even a QB like Rodgers would’ve gotten them even though he is hardly a pocket passer.
I think that for every missed concussion protocol, Roger Goodell should have to get laid out by a linebacker helmet-to-helmet.
Why would the NFL care? Honestly. It’s lied about the issue from jump street. Everybody knows this. It implements bogus checks and balances it doesn’t follow. You know this. Yet, viewers continue tuning in droves. Until they don’t, they will never, ever care about this or domestic violence or insert your gripe here.…
The NFL’s concern with concussions is on par with an automobile maker’s concern with a faulty brake pad:
An athletic trainer serving as a “spotter” for both teams will be present in the stadium booth with access to multiple views of video and replay in order to aid in the recognition of injury.
The independent neurologist would not comment, other than to tell everybody he said “Hi!”
Who wants to be the first Unaffiliated Trauma Consultant to pull a star player off the field during a game winning drive? You like death threats, cause you’re gonna get ‘em.
I heard that one of the players incorrectly sang “Oh hey does that Star-Spangled banner yet wave..” and the overwhelmed League was still dealing with the fallout hours later.
Clearly you’ve forgotten (Cam) Newton’s first law: a player on the bench tends to remain on the bench and a player in the game tends to remain in the game unless he’s sustained a horrific knee injury.
I like all my bags to be strapped.
I bet that duffel didn’t even have a concealed carry permit
It happened because this guy was dumb enough to not unload the guns before he put them in a duffel bag. I keep expecting people to know simple things like this, because I forget how many gun owners don’t learn basic gun safety.
Currently so deep in Caitlyn Jenner sports illustrated comments on Facebook. Many Americans dont understand what a transgendered person even is, but my God they sure have to hate it before they understand it.
The issue was that there wasn’t another good bag of guns around to disarm the evil, probably non-christian bag...
We are a stupid, stupid country.
another gun could have snagged the trigger right? or am i thinking to simply about it
I think it would depend on what type of firearm it was. Most of them don’t do that but some of them are a little more touchy.
