The issue is the electronics. We can’t make those parts today since they are out of date, how in the hell can we make them in 2071 when we have to replace the 50 year old parts in the cars of today ?

Ultimately: the Maverick wins when it comes to power choices but the Santa Cruz offers more power.

There’s no Chevy Spark-derived coupé called an Ember or a kicky-looking Mitsubishi Mirage spin-off called a Spectre or something like that. This segment is pretty ghostly itself now, not just the specific car.

I want to know what are you going to do, brother, when Hulkamania runs wild on you! Yeesh, that front end?!?

Yeah, and the most widely used vaccine (Pfizer) is only about 40% effective at preventing symptomatic illness after 6 months. Those figures do not fit an agenda or personal belief, though.

Reminds me of the best Top Gear challenges - buy a car on a limited budget and take it through shit it wasn’t meant for.

Completely agree with this and I should have stated “vaccinated and those with natural immunity”.

Seatbelt laws seem like bullshit when you can still legally ride a motorcycle. I am a seatbelt user, but also a motorcyclist, by the way (ATGATT). I have always been of the opinion that if what you are doing doesn’t injure anyone else, then proceed ahead as you wish. Don’t want to wear a seatbelt...fine.  Don’t want

We (unlike Israel) have a huge proportion of the population that is not vaccinated, and these are the people who are spreading most of the virus.

I just bought a cheap, used Garmin Nuvi off of eBay. Paid $18. I can pay another $50 to update the maps, but the current install is only a year old, so no worries, yet. I don’t use my phone for anything else than nav while I am on the bike, so, for me, problem solved.

How in the hell does the Jimny not make this list?!?

Great documentary.  Some points were completely draw-dropping.

I’m saying the job itself adds scope that isn’t needed. Kind of like the TSA. It isn’t needed and doesn’t really do anything effective, but there it is.

We spend over $7B each year for TSA.  Ridiculous.

That last sentence is a really good point.

This seems like one of those jobs that just adds scope, rather than taking anything off the plate of anyone.

Kinda seems like a BS job.  As in, it isn’t really needed in the first place.

I have practiced Gracie Jiu-Jitsu (with Rickson, Royler and Royce), Muay Thai, Judo, Wrestling and Krav Maga for 20+ years. I appreciate the suggestion, but I don’t think either of these dudes are teaching me much.

And don’t try to take a knife into Disney World, or any other theme park for that matter.

It’s not (potentially) racist because the villains are Yakuza, it is (potentially) racist because the plot seems to involve a white person in Japan killing dozens and dozens of Asian people as quickly as she can.
