I disagree, given Alfa’s negative history in the States; high-volume Italian cars have a bad rep here, so they were starting behind the 8-ball.

First Gear: this is a dumb take. Alfa Romeo in the US is basically like Tesla - damn-near a startup, fledgling car company. Their boost in sales is commendable, and doesn’t deserve any snarky backhanded compliments or comparisons to BMW.
1 Giulia for every 6 3-Series actually doesn’t sound that bad to me, technically speaking or not, given the ubiquity of the 3-Series and what Alfa is starting from (nigh on scratch).
A 23-fold increase is excellent. Suggesting they’re failures because they’re not selling nearly as well as BMW is pretty dumb. BMW has been in the market for decades, Alfa-Romeo is starting from scratch after a very long absence. Jeez.
See this is what happens when you don’t let your car warm up.
Pretty sure a 23 fold increase in sales is a win no matter how you slice it?
As a New Jerseyian who moved to the midwest:
No, the translation is: “Ferrari, The Ferrari” The name was given because it is pinnacle Ferrari. The name isn’t dumb.
My thoughts on this are that if you don’t have enough gas to make it clear through NJ without stopping, you done fucked up.

if you have the $ to spend 750k on a car, you probably don’t give a shit about it anyway (the money, not the car). at that point they’re not buying it because it’s a good deal, they’re buying it for status, so they can specifically tell people that they have an electric corvette.

I stopped it after a few seconds...that’s terrible.
If ya could stop using instagram as a distribution platform that’d be great.
remember that visibility is fantastic, all four corners and the edge of the hood can be seen from the drivers seat, and the steering wheel can be manipulated with a light touch of the pinky.
This car actually came equipped with a lot of options that were way ahead of its time making it very comfortable for daily driving. This was the first year for climate control, so the car always stayed the temperature you wanted. You could opt for power windows, power seats, autronic eye, twilight sentinel, power top…
finding the spot may be tough but the actual act of parking is easier than a pickup
And then refused to negotiate on his ridiculous prices.
Agreed, David. It does feel like a giant waste. Ron wasted these cars.
Now the 70-year-old is resorting to just scrapping some seriously cool cars instead of selling them, and it’s a damn shame.
