I don’t know if it’s a French thing (the French have their own version of #MeToo, after all), an age thing, a celebrity thing... whatever it is, these people are clearly seeing what they want to see.

They’re rebooting everything and at least some of it is doing well so why not try this show too instead of coming up with something new, is what I assume the rationale was.

That’s sad. I like Dianne Wiest. Maybe her money issues are why she’s on Life in Pieces. Which I like, but it’s not exactly the most well written show in the world.
