That was already enshrined into law a century or two ago.
The Federal Government already has that right. That’s how our form of government works, in general.
When you give rights to the minority, you take rights away from the majority—-simple logic.
I mean... if I knew someone was freaking out over a nonexistent vagina on a teddy bear cake, I might tease Mrs. Overreaction too. But then, I’m not the kind of person you probably want at a child’s christening in the first place.
Well in people’s defense, christenings are probably very boring.
Switzerland has lots of guns too but you know they’re Swiss, so maybe the problem isn’t always just the guns.
Nick got interviewed on a youth current affairs radio show last night. Listeners sent in feedback texts afterwards that the host read out. My favourites were "I went to high school with Nick. He was a chump then and he's a chump now" and "Please tell Nick to give himself an uppercut."
WPvP was dead long before flying mounts made it into the game and has long been more about griefing then anything. The real killer with flying for me wasn’t so much the flying away to prevent camping but that everyone would hover until they outnumbered you then attack. That or the druids with their instant fly…
Also, if any of our mothers hadn’t chosen life, we wouldn’t be around to regret our non-existence.
I want to preface my response by saying that I absolutely am strongly in favor of gay rights and think that under anti-discrimination laws, a baker should have to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple just as for any other couple. But this wasn’t a wedding cake, it was a cake with a specific message on it saying…
Even as someone who is also extremely pro-gay rights, I do think there’s something to the argument that a baker should not be required by law to make a cake that says “Support Gay Marriage,” as opposed to being required by anti-discrimination law to just make a cake for a gay couple’s marriage.
Some clarification on the relevant law:
“They discriminated against my discrimination!”
THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL THE JUSTICES
Blue Moon is a gateway beer. People who don’t like beer can start with cider, then on to Blue Moon. I’ve seen it open people’s beer palattes. It’s a good beer, not a great beer, but a good beer you can find just about everywhere. So meh to this guy. “Artfully crafted” doesn’t mean it’s indie. It’s just a tagline.
“What if a politician did vote against his personal beliefs because his constituents believed something else? But in another instance it was for the wrong cause? “
You are not obliged to actively disbelieve someone when when what they’re saying, regardless of if it’s true or not, is none of your concern. Your sensitivity should not be selective. You don’t get a pass on being an asshole to someone just because you think they deserve it.
