I knew very little about her prior to this summer. Intitially she seemed like the “sane-ish” choice out of the Republican candidates. I’m pretty sure she was the only one who wasn’t a stupid asshole about Kim Davis.

And this is why I’m immediately skeptical of anything supposedly done to “raise awareness”. I just translate that phrase to “I really have no good justification for this...but I want people to support it anyway”.
