Right. And the Mk.7 and later Volkswagens have a flash counter, to count how many times you’ve flashed the ECU. This is to deter people who put tunes on them, but then flash them back to factory upon taking them into the dealership. If you have more flashes on your ECU than you should, VW knows you’ve modified the car.

Every manufacturer has the ability to detect ECU mods, and yes, they will restrict your warranty in a heart beat.

Most manufacturers can tell how many times the ECU has been flashed too so they know if you have reverted back before service.

It’s a bit different though. ICE manufacturers care about being on the hook for warranty repairs. Tesla cares about that, but they also care about being on the hook for fires.

just put a K&N filter in it

I’m gonna be that guy.

Ah, can confirm.

I can play Okami on pretty much anything now, too.

I 100% expect Skyrim Mobile in the next year or two.

Got a free copy of Definitive Edition on Steam at least, which I can’t say for some other games.

I also had a Ducati 748... beautiful bike and handled fantastic. But that’s there the fun stops. Everything else about that bike sucks.

I have no idea about bikes so I have no idea about this. But I’m stealing “I’d rather shit in my hands and clap” phrase.

There’s lots of complaints against an S3, but underpowered isn’t normally one of them. It’s a ‘97 with 101 hp and 90 ft-lbs of torque, that’s actually pretty impressive. It was clearly a sport-tourer/naked (the S3T being even more touring centric), so you’ve got to compare it to that, not a GSXR1000.

Overweight & underpowered. Goofy ergonomics & worse aesthetics. Not sporty enough to sportbike and not Harley enough to cruise. A used helmet, especially one that almost certainly hit its expiration date a decade ago?

No Ultra Magnus, no deal

Wait you’re telling me they took shit performance and added shit ergonomics!!!

So having read a few reviews, I’m going to be very curious to see how this shakes out. Without saying that this will be a Cormac McCarthy level of greatness (it won’t), the smattering of reviews I have seen seem to be like what you would get when handing a bunch of Sophomore college students a copy of Blood Meridian

My 335d was throwing a lot of codes, so I did some light exhaust work & sent the ECU out for some straightening out, and now it does fun things (without throwing CELs). It needs a few things to be perfect, so I expect it will spend a lot of time on the Quickjack through the fall.

Well maintained and serviced on time (per Carfax).

I watched the entire season and your “white fish out of water” description is puzzling. Maybe try it again? If only because it’s really good. I think the finale was some of the best TV I’ve seen this year.
