trucks are wide, having a swing gate like the ridgeline means you can’t use that feature in limited space situations.  i.e. I can open my splitgate land cruiser in my garage with the door closed, but I can’t open my GX swinging door with the door close.  its annoying.  60/40 means you don’t have so much gate to swing…

If only new pickup trucks didn’t have a ridiculous amount of ground clearance and bed side height this wouldn’t be necessary.

Having worked retail, I’ll defend the attendants behavior. I’d bet good money that the vast majority of people (with cars, not trucks) they see going for the diesel pump are wrong. And since most of them are wrong, it’s just easier to assume everyone is.
