Why not adjust the automatic braking?  The beef about the car approaching the turn too fast and not decelerating when he let off the gas pedal sounds like a case of carrying too much speed into the corner and then booting the brake pedal to get it slowed down. Sounds like operator error to me.

My main point was to show how poorly written and edited this article is. Which is a shame as it’s a really interesting subject and a fascinating, beautiful example of understated elegance.

My uncle has one.  140 hp is plenty for this truck.  It’s not meant to break a land speed record.  My 85 Nissan 720 had 107 hp and it was exactly enough to get it moving and cruising at highway speeds.

The hood design on the Volvo 850 and P80 V/S70 is great too. You can release two catches at the hood which allows it to stand straight up.
