Jesus Jezebel’s coverage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been dreadful. I hardly know where to start.

The show didn't jump the shark until Negan appeared and they turned the reveal of who he kills into a cliffhanger with no answers. Season two's only really problem is slow pacing and compared later problems it's not that bad.
Tell me you’re white without telling me you’re white.
Of course Discovery would pick up on one of the dumbest, most pointless Voyager episodes.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say its not an Alien story if it’s set on Earth. This sounds like a Weyland-Yutani story, which is not what I am looking for. Also, retconning that Weyland-Yutani came into contact with a xenomorph prior to the Nostromo investigating LV-426 has the potential to really bum me out.
I don’t care if she was a [put whatever employment makes you happy here], we can be empathetic for a person that goes in to get a procedure done and is physically scarred for life after. It doesn’t matter who she was or who she is. Stop judging people.
I am more sympathetic, I guess. I think the article is about living with shame, disappointment, and fear of being judged for “letting yourself go.” Look at the recent coverage of Kelly McGillis. Well-known people are not allowed to fall into obscurity when there is news to be made for showing unflattering pictures.
One of my best friends is a psychiatric social worker for Skid Row in Los Angeles.
I think the issue isn’t that Miranda treated Steve poorly. It’s that the show does not frame her treatment as bad. It focused on mocking Steve and stripping his character of dignity to make Miranda’s choices look better. It wasn’t willing to present her choices as complicated. Also, her role as a parent was so…
That’s my thing. Billy West and Katey Sagal aren’t exactly these newbies who’ll take whatever offer comes their way. Billy West voices like forty percent of the characters and Katey Sagal is Katey Sagal. They aren’t lowballing her. So I just wonder how much they’re offering and how much he wants.
JJ was barely involved in Beyond’s production and his initial director was Orci, the self proclaimed 9-11 truther, who put his wild beliefs into 2 of JJ’s movies,
Keep JJ and the 9-11 truther Orci as far away from that Star Trek movie as they can. Wish they could have given Justin Lin another shot, but at least they have a good writer on board.
This is basically the problem with how the Jedi Order tends to be written by these edgelord assholes:
I was always under the impression that you simply couldn’t open those passenger / emergency exist doors while the plane was in flight. Maybe the plastic cover of the door moved a couple inches, but I doubt the door itself did.
I expect the IOC will penalize Russia by awarding them the 2032 Summer Games.
Well, I was going to build my own Futurama, with hookers and blackjack, but this will do just fine.
Not that there aren’t enough roles for dudes, but I feel like I’ve seen plenty of movies about women alone in a secluded place and having to deal with some creepy thing stalking them all the while figuring out whether or not they’re losing their minds because of past trauma. This one has Garland directing Buckley, so…
Riker: THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AN EMAIL, JEAN-LUC
Oh, the Torres/Paris relationship was a fantastic idea, no question! Voyager did occasionally endeavor to do somethings right, after all, even if they only got there by doing everything in the wrong way first (mostly kidding!).
I watched the show daily over the ‘demic, alternating with DS9, and I can say that I will accept no apologetics for the episodic nature of Voyager. It literally made no sense to force those characters trapped in a bottle to never change or grow. Certainly not while another show was being made at the same time that was…
