So I am 23 seconds in and what is fascinating to me is that he is clearly, genuinely, proud of that accent. Like, he worked on it, or maybe he feels he has a natural gift, and I think on some level he wants some recognition, some praise for doing such a good job (in his mind) with that accent.

Holy fucking shit leaving the scene of a deadly accident is a fucking FELONY in most states. Is it not a felony in SD? And guilty people claim to be innocent all the time, you know what happens? The case goes to FUCKING TRIAL and a jury decides. This is so laughably corrupt it’s pathetic. But no one in SD will care

If they voted him out, they’d have to admit they were wrong in the first place. Their specific brand of moral cowardice is based on their absolute terror of discovering they are not right all the time. That someone else could be right, and they’d have to admit it, even a tacit admission, is the worst possible thing

Someone powerful not being held accountable for their actions, eh? Wonder what their political party affiliation is...

ah, yup.

Why do these assholes all look like thumbs?

Alternate interpretation: Joe Rogan got horse worms from doing something that exposes one to horse worms, and he took horse worm medication for that.

For the first time, I feel bad for COVID-19.

I’m going to go with, Andrea Romano is a genius, on that one.

To be fair, Brett Kavanaugh is on the Supreme Court and had all his debt paid off.

That letter from the EVP is so stupid. “Y’all were pissed we put the creep in front of the camera so we were hoping that y’all would calm down if he went back behind the camera but we were surprised to find out that you guys were upset that we had a creep on staff at all. “

Nah, but I presume they sought him out—Andrea Romano, the voice director had already worked with him on Batman:TAS and Freakazoid...

Look, you might be just fine licking boots in your industry, and more power to you. The rest of us understand that “everyone does it this way” is not an excuse for anyone doing it this way. “It’s bad everywhere, so we should just give up trying to make it better anywhere,” is a cowardly, lazy outlook.

Has anyone else noticed the literal same conversation occurring across all industries, all the time?

As a 40 year-old who grew up as a 90s teen on a steady diet of 60s & 70s classic rock, I feel a savage justification in always finding Eric Clapton to be an overrated, pompous, annoying, boring jackass. *blasts Hendrix*

Yeah the cowardice of the “some people believe this but not me” is shocking.

Bialik isn’t “really smart”, though, and that’s extremely evident from interviews with her. If you think her neuroscience qualification means that she is, well, sorry mate, I know people with better qualifications that that, who are frankly, cretins in all regards outside their actual field. One of them I know IRL

It was a dumb position, but it seems like she changed her mind years ago, and she isn’t being hired as a doctor.

“We made an informed decision not to vaccinate our children, but this is a very personal decision that should be made only after sufficient research, which today is within reach of every parent who seeks to learn about their child’s health regardless of their medical knowledge or educational status,” Bialik wrote at

This is well-known, too. Like she’s been shitty for a while but welp she’s got a good degree so I guess she can shill whatever bullshit she wants.

I hate how she couches it in the “Some people believe it, not me, but some people” bullshit. Like, even stating it without criticizing/mocking the sentiment (which it should be) is standard “mainstreaming”.
