The show was pretty good until they ran out of book and none of the top notch actors could save the show.

I stayed up two hours past my bedtime soaking in the thrill of a Kennedy defeat last night. I really didn’t think that was going to happen in Massachusetts. But what a great time to be wrong. With that said, Kennedy couldn’t have run a worse or more confusing campaign (“I’m not just a Kennedy!” “Here’s my grandma!”…
That basically sums it up.
100% this. I grew up in the PNW, and while it’s not old money, there’s a lot of very wealthy people out there. All of whom wear Columbia fleeces and jeans from Costco. Then I moved to DC, where I experienced a lot of the white button-up crowd. Both groups look down on your third “white trash” description.
I spent the majority of my life living near a couple of the richest zip codes in the country. Rich people style comes in a few flavors:
Is tuition cheaper if I watch from the corner of the room...
Of course he’s gonna throw her under the bus. He loves watching her get plowed!
Really? That’s why they killed her off?
The silly thing about all of this Ellen hoopla is that it’s focused on Ellen. I have no affinity for Ellen, I have never watched her show (shows?), but I have worked below the line on plenty of bullshit and I got to say they treat you like shit in Hollywood, because they can. You know what working for Ellen is…
And now a Seal that STILL brags about taking down Bin Laden took a picture of himself mask-less on a Delta flight proudly declaring himself “not a pussy” just got banned from Delta. Sad.
I just assumed with the staged photos this was obvious?
At one point he spoke to various city leaders about racism.
Michelle Obama, has announced to the country that she is the new America’s Mom. Last night. She used her “Honey, we need to talk voice.” and then proceeded to shoot Trump into the sun and then dropped that sun into a black hole.
Does he really not understand how much we all long for a boring country after 2020? That’s not a threat.
So glad she mentioned the third-party voters, because I don’t think they get enough attention for what happened in 2016. The Johnson campaign regularly said they thought they were pulling support equally from would-be Trump supporters and would-be Clinton voters, while Stein’s campaign made a constant, explicit appeal…
Michelle Obama delivered a critical update to the “when they go low, we go high” edict. Stone cold killer instinct with a poisonous kindness. She spoke of him like a farmer putting an animal out to pasture. There were too many golden moments. My personal favorite was “He simply cannot be who we need him to be for us”.…
It will be interesting to see how they handle the rest of the virtual convention and how they will manage to continuously build up, but from what I saw I kind of liked that they just went with how weird this situation was. Instead of trying to pretend this was a convention or something like that, they just went with…
The royal family is not answerable for whatever cynically macabre one liners the press comes up with, and neither you or the press has no insight on why any member of the royal family decided to have any number of children.
I’ve never understood American’s fascination with the windsors. The very thought of birthright entitlement in the 21st century is abhorrant. It doesn’t matter if the titles carry no real power. It’s not charming to be born with government-funded wealth and title. It will be interesting if Australia becomes a Republic…
