I've always thought there are two viewpoints to creating a character in a game:

Btw, a quick recap I posted for an earlier IO9 article on Space Battleship Yamato 2199 [http://io9.com/things-are-loo…]. Please note that it contains very mild spoilers.

I don't know, although I'm planning to check when I get home. Once I learned that it existed, simply searched for Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199) online until I found it with subtitles.

It would great if they would, but you can find it online with a little digging.

Have you seen the new version, Space Battleship Yamato 2199? It fleshes out the story much further, adds a variety of new characters, and is an improvement over the original.

I've been working my way through a pack of EOS balm that I bought at one of the big box stores last year, and haven't had any mold issues. Stuff works pretty great, got me through this rough winter quite nicely.

Also IT, and I know thzt feeling all too well.

Lol, fellow "Old" here, and I watched it too as a child — and would watch the heck out of this version.

We know that Carol wouldn't actually go through with the threat,

So glad I'm not the only (perverse) one to see that....

But the guns should be shoot once and have to reload. If she had her own guns from modern times she could just shoot in succession.

I could not understand why the hell she didn't use some of her martial arts training, get their guns, and run.

I used to seriously dislike crows. On my side street in Washington DC, they had driven out all the other birds and taken over the trees, especially the huge tree directly across the street from my apartment. They were noisy, obnoxious, and not above dive bombing the occasional human.

There's no need to be afraid to use an Epi-Pen. As someone who has had to use one (bee sting allergy), you simply lock the mechanism in place and jab your thigh. Just make sure you have a tissue or cloth handy to wipe away the small amount of blood you might get from breaking the skin.

Random thoughts:

We've never seen any of the other characters lose everyone they're close to,

I do remember seeing something on the curb but got distracted.

I always thought that was intentional on Bruce's part, attempting to make Robin the "hero" that Batman isn't, or doesn't think of himself as. Hence the colorful costume, as opposed to Batman's dark look, not emphasizing in Dick's training how to install fear, etc..

I never understood the WW's objections to Dick beginning his combat training at "the ripe old age" of 9 years old. If anything, by Amazonian standards I'd think that'd be a fairly *late* start (unless that's she was actually complaining about, but I doubt it from the tone of her voice).

Err, psychologically!
