I once got upgraded to first class because I was dressed nicely. The plane's door had been closed to the causeway (so no more gate agent), a seat was still open, and a flight attendant moved me up apparently because I "looked the part".

No, you have me there. But while I would definitely like a left-handed option, I'm sure that I'd be ok with them on the right.
Am I missing something? I'm a lefty, wear my watch on my right arm, and have no problems with all the knobs and such being on the right side. How is this a problem?
Well, that would be an interesting way to add, say, Captain Marvel to the mix (and eventually movies when Helmsworth drops out).
Um, you seem to have missed the memo: *Everyone* is infected.
I got vaccinated against HPV a few years ago. I'm a guy, and in my mid-4os, and therefore had to pay out of pocket for it (maybe $500 total for the three shots).
Wow, my experience as a gay man is very different. As far as I know, all of my friends have regular coverage of some kind or another, either through their or their spouse's employer (although being dependent on your job's health care coverage has its own issues). Granted, we're mostly in our 40s and live in a major…
Except the movie's message is basically "Don't be yourself, you have to pretend to be someone else or everyone will hate/fear you". And frankly the humans really *don't* have enough reason to really trust him at the end. It's a grim, flawed, and joyless film. Nolan's Batman films had more optimism.
And the real kicker is that Ms. Anders actually called it "optimistic". I found that movie anything but that.
I agree that Hershel thought that Carl went off the rails; however, I disagree with Hershel's assessment/how he reported it to Rick. In fact, that I felt Hershel got it so wrong greatly lowered my opinion of the character.
I disagree about Carl and the "rando", whose name I think was Josh.
At least you can take comfort in that there won't be a bad sequel. ;)
"But in case for some reason you desperately want to know what's happened on Defiance and yet my recaps are your only interaction with the show...."
Individual cats can have some very interesting eating preferences. I had one cat who absolutely loved tomato juice, and another who was a serious Doritos addict.
My now ex-BF's daughter served a tour on the Enterprise back in late 2010/early 2011. The way she described it, the ship was not in very good shape, and technical problems delayed its deployment several times (along with the Captain getting into trouble and being replaced, if memory serves me correctly).
Actually, B- here, which is on the rare side as well.
"..and I have green eyes! Take that evolution!"
Really, as a lefty I've never thought stick-shift was a particular nuisance for us. Left hand does the primary job of steering, right hand works the secondary job of changing gears*. No problem.
We have so many lefties in my family we have to arrange seating to accommodate it — lefties sit on one side, right-handed ones on the other — just to avoid elbow-smashing.
Both of my parents and all four of my grandparents are/were left-handed.
