Great costumes, but that bazooka is definitely pointing the wrong way.

“you’d think that Russian ships would have better air defenses than just shoulder-fired rockets”
1) you’d think that Russian ships would have better air defenses than just shoulder-fired rockets
Russia did not join France in anything since Russia isn’t actually fighting ISIS. Ditto for working with the U.S.; they’re both nonsense for domestic consumption.
You’re joking, right? Russia is still playing the part of the petulant, unreasonable child... Last I checked sending hostile warplanes into another country’s sovereign airspace isn’t exactly kosher.
Hopefully Obama, Hollande and other leaders of NATO partner countries will listen to their Eastern European partners who are categorically against NATO partnering with a country who has invaded and is illegally occupying the Crimean peninsula. Ukraine for its part has apprentice sworn off of Russian natural gas as an…
Damn straight, it’s some other nation’s turn to wade into the quicksand for a change.
The key question is: why would Turkey take a chance and shoot down a Russian aircraft if there was no justifiable and provable reason to do so? Makes no sense for them to forge a lie saying the Russian aircraft crossed the border when other player can prove that the Russians didn’t.
It's not only suspect but absolutely dumbfounding that they didn't know they had been shot at until they were hit. Are you telling me that the Su-24 doesn't have a missile lock warning? If it's this easy to shoot down Russian aircraft, we might as well turn this war hot now and be done by Christmas.
“Did they land in Turkey? Did the plane crash in Turkey? Check the facts before posting verbal diarrhea.”
I don’t think the Syrian rebels of any faction signed onto that document.
To fair to him, is there a member of a military service anywhere on earth who wouldn’t say exactly what their superiors told them to in a similar situation?
Kinda like how Trayvon was “lost” in people’s backyards.
He’s a sock puppet being told what to say. It’s quite obvious these idiots broke airspace AGAIN. Now Russia is going to cry and pitch a fit. I’d say tighten the bolts on sanctions now.
I’m glad the pilot is OK, but his interview is totally worthless. He could have landed 25 miles inside of Turkey and he’s still going to say, “No sir, we definitely didn’t fly over Turkey.”
I’m still with Turkey on this one. They’ve warned Moscow repeatedly over the last few months, and several Russian incursions have occurred without retaliation. I think they’re fed up with Russia probing their border and bombing the rebel groups they support. If the Russian pilots had simply respected Turkish airspace,…
Turkey also has NATO. Will be interesting to see the dynamics of this play out.
Good to see that Turkey doesn’t have any inhibitions when it comes to defending its airspace. I suspect that most countries, when confronted with a Russian jet, would just let it slide for fear of starting something.
Ready for that EMP, m***erf***ers.
