We have these every so often in the upper peninsula of Michigan. One year it was so bad, they covered everything and when you rode down the road it was like firecrackers going off.

In drag racing, drag racing specific automatic transmissions are ideal. Have been for awhile.qnually shifting high horsepower cars is difficult in getting consistent 1/4 mile times.
If the race is from point A to point B and cars are completing such race then yes, they are race cars.

I work for BMW and was up at their performance center here in Spartanburg, SC and saw one of these in action. They sound sooooo angry. It was beautiful

While you are spot on with your comment, isn’t this article kind of pointing out the reason for getting a “special” model? You could always go the 540 route instead of the m5, but its about getting what you want. Either way, good choice on the 540, 6 speed. Totally jelly.
I love this no doubt, but my heart for nutty drag racing lies with snowmobile drags. Grew up in Michigan, so.......saw some crazy turbo sleds with studded tracks.
